What You Need To Know About Michigan Elections: Funded By National Groups
For those of you who didn’t know before, Michigan’s elections are not just funded by Michiganders–many Republican candidates’ campaigns are paid for by national fundraising groups. In other words, national political action campaign groups (PAC) put money toward campaigns in key states to get their own stooges elected, and Michigan is one of those states.
The latest Michigan governor, Rick Snyder, has both the links to big business nationwide, and the sleazy business financing background that make him worth looking into. Add to that his racist bents, and one wonders: who exactly paid for Rick Snyder’s campaign, and what to they stand to gain from his election. To answer these questions, I have found a telling video made by the Michigan Campaign Finance group. The video is a bit long, but the story is good.
