Is Sarah Palin sowing seeds of Afghani dissent in Alaska? sarah’s (palin) the Britney Spears of the Republican party

April 17, 2009

Sarah Palin’s star candidate was denied in Alaska this week, apparently because he is in verbal league with the new Afghan law that allows a man to rape his wife in a government sanctioned act of violence:

Her controversial nominee for state attorney general, Wayne Ross, was rejected Thursday in a 35-23 vote by the Republican-controlled state Legislature after a week of damaging confirmation hearings that revealed a string of past controversial comments. Ross came under fire for his past defense of a Ku Klux Klan statue and a 1991 quote that said: “If a guy can’t rape his wife, … who’s he gonna rape?”

Now, then Ms. Palin certainly came to her senses with this strong rebuttal to Wayne Ross’s disgusting statements about condoning rape in marriage. She, once again, demonstrated her absolute lack of gray matter in a way the should at some point seem embarassing, but she never seems to realize it. Ms. Palin seems confounded that Alaska won’t accept the man who condones rape:

Palin said in a statement that she was “surprised” by Ross’ rejection. “Mr. Ross is a fine Alaskan,” she said. “He is held in high esteem by many Alaskans. I appreciate his willingness to serve the public.

Aw, gee, Sarah, you think the would-be rapists should serve in public office? How kind of you! Thanks for helping all of us out. We think that his willingness to serve in public office with a KKK seat and positive support of rape is just what Makes Mr. Wayne Ross Special, don’t you? Golly, Sarah, how could you find anyone better? I mean, the guy is sincere, right?

Hmm, Sarah Palin, when will you realize they are just using you to ridicule you? You have to put yourself through it time and again? Sarah Palin has become the Britney Spears of the Republican Party candidates, and when she is taken away on a stretcher, you can be sure the photogs will be watching. You were brought in for the entertainment factor.  We sane women feel sorry for you.  For what it’s worth, the Eminem video: “We Made You” seems to be an appropriate way to end this post….
