Well, Michigan topped the charts, just not always in ways we’d like to acknowledge.  Michigan’s unemployment is the highest in the United States.  Not a good way to top the charts.  That means that the statistics have listed that roughly1 in 7 people are officially unemployed.  For those who only had part-time jobs, there isn’t a whole lot of data.  What next then?  Well, articles are mixed on this topic, but it seems as though Detroit is one of those cities people would like to forget about.  It’s crime-ridden, has some corrupt government officials (who can forget Kwame Kilpatrick?) and it’s dirty.  But, it’s still home to a lot of people.  What next, Detroit?
