Pete Seeger – What Did You Learn In School?- Every generation has iits war

In case you didn’t know about this song, it seems a timely mention of political protest through music. Many newer musicians are putting out political pieces (check out Eminem’s We Made You, and My President Is Black), but Pete Seeger is old school political musical commentary and worth a watch on a Monday morning as we send our kids off to school. It would also be good if parents read some of the “history” books in school to see how the editing produces a definite sway in the argument.

I have often said that every generation has its own war, and it looks like it’s true.  In our case, our generation has seen Desert Storm, Iraq War and now the Afghanistan War.
